What Must Be Shed print

This artwork shows the necessity we have to rid ourselves of the inhumanity, corruption, greed, hate, lies, deceit, bigotry, misogyny, racism, fascism, and cruelty; not just in individual citizens but in our country as a whole. Only then, can we evolve into the nation we need; one that provides peace, freedom, humanity, justice, equality, unity, empathy, kindness, compassion and love.

Our country is in desperate need of a necessary molting. Long-held hateful and harmful ideologies, that have always been lurking in the shadows, have been resurfacing; trying to overshadow all of the qualities and values that make us a decent human society.
America is in a period of transition, where old destructive ways should be left behind to allow for a more humane, fair, and just nation to emerge. Our country needs a renewal; a new beginning away from hate and darkness and towards love and light. It is time for the shedding of old skin - our growth and future demand it.
