Welcome to my little world of art, For Figs Sake! I'm Sarah Figueroa, mama to our family (aka The Figs), and I live in the Austin, Texas area with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. I'm an acrylic and ink artist who sometimes dabbles in other mediums. I have a passion for fine art, but I also love 'fun' art; I get a kick out of creating designs or items with a touch of humor!
Having struggled with anxiety for many years, I've found that a creative outlet is one of the most effective ways for me to ease those overwhelming feelings. Designing something with a playful touch lifts my spirits, while immersing myself in a painting balances my mind, body, and soul. I find the detailing and small patterns of my artwork to be meditative.
